• Hand wash cool, lay flat to dry
• 175 yards / approximately 85g skein ** please note that each skein was made based upon the total yardage of the skein and not weight specific. The weight may vary from 2.6 ounces up to 3.2 ounces. Please be aware of this, as I think yardage is more important for projects than skein weight. 

This yarn I hold so dear to my heart. Every inch has been thoughtfully and carefully created to be a work of art. My neighbor, Jerry Braatz' (owner of Jersey Breeders LLC) introduced me to his beautifully bred Huacaya alpacas. I bought over 100 of his fleeces. After carefully skirting and sorting the alpaca, I shipped them off to the experts at Painted Sky Alpaca in Maryland. From there, I patiently waited over a year for the fleeces to be spun into a 3 ply DK weight. Just like humans, each alpaca fleeces' hair is unique in texture and qualities.
